Bogomolets national medical university is a high medical school founded in 1841 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The university is named after physiologist Alexander A. Bogomolets.

Kharkiv National Medical University is quite an old university that provides highest medical education to students coming far and wide. Teaching Methodologies and Faculty of Kharkiv NMU

The faculty of Kharkiv NMU is highly qualified with several years of experience of teaching in related field. The students undergo both academic and practical training in main medical specialities. The teachers encourage students to take part in examinations of patients, giving urgent aid, work at X-ray rooms, clinical and biochemical laboratories. There are a total of 56 departments wherein the clinical and theoretical training is performed. At present, there are over 700 teachers working in different departments of medicine. The language of instruction is both English and Russian.

Founded in 1784, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University is 229 year old university in Ukraine. It is the biggest and oldest medical university in Ukraine and own 4th level of accreditation.

Duration of Courses

To become physician in medicine, you need to complete a strict 6 year curriculum. The degree will lead to Doctor of Medicine. The Doctor of Dentistry includes studying a 5 year learning curriculum. In order to gain the degree of doctorate in Pharmacy, one has to complete 5 years of studies.After completing bachelors, students are given opportunity to go for post graduate degree which ranges from 3-6 years.
The courses are conducted in English, Ukrainian and Russian medium of language.

Studying Conditions

Training of foreign students is conducted as per plans and syllabus of the university. After graduating, the foreign students receive degrees of international pattern certifying that they acquired the education of a definite qualification degree in accordance with educational system structure existing in Ukraine.

Sumy State Medical University is located in Sumy city in the North-East of Ukraine. Its history began in 1948. Today, SSU is a leading university of a classical type with the III-IV accreditation level in the region.

The University currently serves more than 14,000 students who are pursuing pre bachelor, bachelor, specialist and master degrees in 41 majors and 20 fields of knowledge according to the list of majors 2015. About 1250 foreign students represent more than 50 countries worldwide.

Extracurricular Activities

36 kinds of sports and 75 sports groups are available at the University. Sports teams perform at the premier league level. Over 60 students are the record breakers and prize winners of the Olympic Games, World and European Championships.

Three SSU students were part of Ukrainian national team in the XXX Summer Olympic Games in London; and six SSU students participated in the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. They were awarded with gold medals in biathlon relay race, and bronze medals in boxing and biathlon sprint.

At the ХХVІІ World Winter Universiade Dmytro Rusynov won gold in the individual race, silver in the mass start and bronze in the mixed relay as the part of Ukrainian national team. At the ХХVІІІ World Summer Universiade three SSU students as part of Ukrainian national team won silver in volleyball. Bohdan Yadov and Tetiana Levytska won bronze medals in judo. At 2015 European Games Artem Khomula won bronze in judo.

According to results of Student Games and the Championships of Ukraine, SSU is in the TOP-3 universities among higher education institutions, and it occupies the high position among all universities in Ukraine.

Osh Medical University

The Medical Institute at the Osh Medical University was found in the year 1992 as the Osh State Pedagogical Institute was transformed into Osh State University. The university has the history of training medical students from different countries. Easy procedure of enrollment

Fee Structure

Students have to pay their fees, semester wise. It ranges from $800 to $1000 per semester. Admission Process

Climate

Library and  Research

The Library of the Academy was founded in 1936. It contains over 440 thousand copies of Russia and foreign books.

In addition to this TSMA also maintains another library with approx. 2000 books in English Medium written by Indian and foreign writers. These books are the same which the Indian students read in the local Indian Medical Colleges.

Scientific research programmes are carried out at all Departments of the academy. The research programmes conducted at the academy have participated in six exhibitions conducted in relation to the National Economic Achievements, three of which were national. The Academy has been awarded four silver and two bronze medals. A gold medal was awarded for a combined research carried out by the Academy and the Tver State Technical University.

Hostel

There are four hostels which can accommodate 1840 students.

Two of them are flat type i.e. with attached bathroom, toilet and kitchen.

The hostels are centrally heated (air-conditioned). Hostels are fully furnished.

The basic system is two or three students in one room. Students are provided with full beddings.

Separate arrangements for boys and girls. Every hostel has internet facilities (wi-fi and broadband). Students can get Indian food at the canteen of the hostel and foreign TV channels (Hindi, Tamil etc.) are also available. All the hostels are well guarded with police security. Bed linen is changed once in a week and hostel is cleaned once every day.

Hostel

International students may live in the students’ dorm or have an apartment or a room arranged for them by the University.But the living conditions are rather Spartan: two or three persons to a room, eight rooms on each floor, one kitchen, two toilets, shower in the basement. Students cannot select their rooms. The number of rooms is limited, and, therefore, early applications will be given priority. Students in Volgograd either live in the university hostels or apartments.
